The nowadays mostly used peppermint has been raised in 1696 in the garden of an English gardener. It is a combination of the Mediterranean green mint (Menta spicata) and the native water mint (Menta aquatica). We use Frankish peppermint, which is heavenly aromatic and refreshing in taste.
